Kartalkaya is a ski resort in the Köroğlu Mountains in the Bolu Province in Türkiye.
Kartalkaya offers suitable conditions for alpine skiing, ski touring and cross-country skiing. The ski season lasts approximately 120 days a year from December 20th to March 20th.
The closest town to the ski resort is Bolu, 54 km from Kartalkaya. Kartalkaya is a 4-hour drive from Ankara Esenboğa Airport and a 6-hour drive from Istanbul Airport or Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport. All three airports are international.
Kartalkaya can be reached by bus from Istanbul and Ankara.
The ski area is at an altitude of 1,850 to 2,200 m and the region has a moderate climate. Kartalkaya and its surroundings are covered with forests and the dominant wind direction is west / northwest.
There are two hotels with a total bed capacity of 1,005 as well as restaurants, swimming pools, discos and bars. Rental of ski equipment and ski instructors are available. There are two chair lifts, six drag lifts and three baby lifts with 12 slopes, which are around 20 km long.
